Traditionally, the collar bar is an object of male dandification- worn under the knot on a tie and used to bump it out a little bit. I’ve noticed that this subtle style has found a patron in Mad Men‘s resident silver fox, Roger Sterling. However, you can also wear them sans tie, like this stylish youth, and keep that collar poppin’ – in a much classier sense- all year round.
